OVERVIEW

  • The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated digital marketing strategies that strengthen brand presence, drive engagement, and support business growth across the company's pharmaceutical portfolio.
  • The role combines strategic planning, creative content management, performance analytics, and digital innovation aligned with corporate and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning and Brand Support

  • Develop and implement digital marketing plans aligned with overall brand strategies and corporate objectives.
  • Partner with Brand Managers and Medical Affairs to ensure digital campaigns comply with pharma advertising and ethical guidelines.
  • Lead digital launch campaigns for new brands or indications.

Digital Channel Management

  • Oversee the company's online platforms (corporate website, brand microsites, social media pages, and e-detailing systems).
  • Manage content calendars, online promotions, webinars, and virtual events.
  • Collaborate with creative agencies for content development and ensure brand consistency.
  • Supervise digital media placements and optimize SEO/SEM performance.

Data Analytics and Performance Tracking

  • Monitor and analyze digital campaign KPIs (reach, engagement, conversion, CTR, ROAS).
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and actionable insights for management.
  • Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot, etc.) to improve ROI.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, and IT teams for content accuracy and platform compliance.
  • Coordinate with regional/global digital teams to adapt global campaigns and best practices.
  • Manage third-party vendors, agencies, and digital service providers.

Innovation and Capability Building

  • Stay current with emerging digital trends, tools, and pharma tech solutions (e.g., AI-based marketing, patient engagement apps).
  • Champion digital upskilling sessions for internal teams.
  • Recommend process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Postgraduate studies or certifications in Digital Marketing are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or strategic role within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in digital tools (Google Analytics, Ads Manager, SEO/SEM, CRM, CMS platforms, Canva/Adobe Suite). Knowledge of data analytics and automation platforms is an advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Strategic thinker with attention to detail. Capable of managing multiple projects and teams.
  • Others: Familiarity with pharma code of ethics, data privacy, and digital compliance standards is an advantage.
