The Senior Sales Manager is a pivotal, high-impact leadership role responsible for defining and executing advanced sales strategies to secure significant business growth, drive large-scale client acquisition, and ensure substantial revenue generation within the competitive BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry. A primary and critical function of this role is to strategically lead the sales integration of newly acquired companies, standardizing global sales processes, aligning client management frameworks, and accelerating the realization of integration synergies. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic, results-driven executive with a proven track record of managing complex enterprise sales cycles, leading senior sales teams, and successfully navigating post-acquisition business transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Performance:
- Develop, champion, and execute the multi-year sales strategy and roadmap for the BPO division, translating corporate goals into measurable team targets.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of Sales Managers and Account Executives, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and overachievement of enterprise-level sales and revenue targets.
- Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) Integration Oversight:
- Serve as the primary sales leader for post-acquisition integration efforts, including the harmonization of disparate sales processes, CRM migration, client contract alignment, and organizational restructuring within the sales function.
Client & Partnership Development:
- Directly manage and close large, complex, and strategic enterprise-level contracts and accounts.
- Cultivate and maintain C-level relationships with key decision-makers and high-value stakeholders across global industries to drive long-term strategic partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance:
- Collaborate extensively with Executive Leadership and cross-functional teams (Operations, Legal, Finance, Marketing) to design new service offerings, optimize pricing structures, and ensure a seamless, high-quality end-to-end client experience.
- Negotiate and structure sophisticated, multi-year contracts, focusing on maximizing profitability and managing long-term risk.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of global sales performance, market penetration, and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive business opportunities and preemptive areas for strategic adjustment.
- Prepare and present high-level sales forecasts, detailed business reviews, and strategic recommendations directly to the executive leadership team.
- Enforce rigorous adherence to company governance, global regulatory compliance, and ethical sales standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a quantitative/technical field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership and account management, with at least 3 years spent directly managing other sales leaders/managers.
- Deep, demonstrable expertise within the BPO, Outsourcing, or Global Services industry is mandatory.
- Mandatory proven experience in leading sales functions through significant organizational change, particularly successful post-acquisition integration, business transformation, or major sales process consolidation.
Skills:
- Exceptional executive-level communication, negotiation, and large-scale client presentation skills.
- Superior analytical and strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to define and interpret complex business metrics (KPls).
- Expert-level proficiency with Tier-1 CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Sales Cloud) and advanced data analysis tools.
- Proven ability to manage international and geographically dispersed enterprise accounts and sales teams.
