Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper with solid experience working with Australian clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Xero, a strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, and the ability to manage end-to-end bookkeeping functions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for Australian businesses
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, Superannuation, and other statutory reports
  • Reconcile balance sheets and profit and loss statements
  • Generate monthly financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Collaborate with accountants and management for financial planning and compliance
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to Australian financial regulations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience for Australian companies or clients
  • Proficient in Xero (certification is an advantage)
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and time management abilities
