Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Part-Time | Remote | PHP 25,000 – PHP 30,000 per month | 20 hours per week

We're looking for a Bookkeeper with solid experience using Xero and QuickBooks to support an Australian financial services firm on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and confident communicating directly with clients.

You'll be working closely with both the client's internal accounting team and their external business clients—helping maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and ensuring all bookkeeping deliverables are met on time.

What You'll Do

• Perform weekly and monthly bookkeeping tasks using Xero and QuickBooks Online across multiple client accounts
• Manage bank, credit card, and account reconciliations to ensure all records are complete and accurate
• Prepare and post journal entries for payroll, accruals, depreciation, and other adjustments
• Maintain financial records and prepare data for BAS and compliance reporting
• Deliver bookkeeping services directly to clients with accuracy and professionalism
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and follow-ups
• Raise and send invoices for internal and client accounts
• Keep all transactions coded correctly and ensure records are updated regularly
• Maintain an organized digital filing system for receipts, invoices, and reports
• Communicate directly with clients via email and phone in a professional and service-oriented manner
• Support the accountant during BAS and year-end reconciliations and reporting

What You'll Need

• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience with Australian businesses or clients
• Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks Online (certifications preferred)
• Strong skills in reconciliations, journals, BAS preparation, and general ledger management
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Confident in dealing directly with clients and managing multiple files independently
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and Australian bookkeeping standards

Nice to Have:

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
• Prior experience with an Australian accounting or bookkeeping firm
• Familiarity with tools like Dext, Hubdoc, or Xero Practice Manager
