We're Hiring: Technical Engineer

Makati City | Onsite | Weekdays (Dayshift)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct Value Engineering (VE) studies for existing and new wire and cable applications.
  • Provide technical support to customers and the Sales Team regarding product specifications, construction, and applications.
  • Review customer requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Prepare and present technical and product information (e.g., electrical characteristics, ampacity, installation guides).
  • Develop and deliver technical and VE presentations to clients, designers, and contractors.
  • Promote cost-effective and innovative cable solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Facilitate pre-installation training and on-site audits to ensure correct product handling and installation.
  • Manage and coordinate ENGAGE Project implementation, including procurement, installation, and testing.
  • Collaborate with contractors, designers, and internal engineering teams to maintain product consistency and quality.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and compliance with company safety policies.
  • Stay updated on new wire and cable technologies and continuously improve technical expertise.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE board passer preferred).
  • At least 1 year of professional work experience as a Technical Engineer or Business Development Analyst in a wire and cable manufacturing firm.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experienced in AutoCAD for creating detailed technical drawings and plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of wire and cable products, applications, and electrical systems.
  • Skilled in preparing electrical plans and interpreting product specifications.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for engineering problem-solving and project estimation.
