Technical Support Engineer – Aluminum

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Technical Support Engineer to join our fast-growing Aluminum & uPVC Windows and Doors Division. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of profiles, hardware, and fabrication methods, and will be able to provide full-cycle support from design all the way through installation at the job site.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our operations, acting as the technical lead to ensure all projects are executed with accuracy, efficiency, and top-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Technical Support
  • Recommend appropriate window/door profiles and systems (sliding, casement, awning, fixed, etc.).
  • Review architectural drawings and prepare shop drawings.
  • Provide technical solutions to design challenges, ensuring strength, water-tightness, and functionality.
  • Planning & Fabrication Support
  • Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs, and fabrication plans.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and fabricators for profile, hardware, and accessory requirements.
  • Optimize materials to minimize wastage and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Jobsite & Installation Support
  • Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before production.
  • Provide installation plans and supervise jobsite execution.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues on site (alignment, water leakage, hardware fitment).
  • Coordinate with contractors and site supervisors to ensure timely completion.
  • Quality & Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and technical records for projects.
  • Support continuous improvement in product design and installation methods.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (PRC license is an advantage but not required).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in aluminum/uPVC windows, doors, or façade systems.
  • Strong knowledge of profiles, hardware, glass, and installation methods.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D is an advantage).
  • Skilled in preparing cutting lists, BOQs, and shop drawings.
  • Experience in site measurement, supervision, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills (with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors).
