Business Development Assistant

A Business Development Assistant provides crucial support for business growth by conducting market research, identifying leads, assisting with sales strategies, and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, new business opportunities, and emerging industry trends.
- Lead Generation & Qualification:
Assist in identifying and assessing promising leads and cultivating relationships with potential clients.
- Sales Support:
Support the sales team by providing information, assisting with sales strategies, and coordinating meetings with clients and partners.
- Client Relationship Management:
Maintain and update client information in CRM systems and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Proposal & Presentation Development:
Prepare and draft persuasive proposals, sales pitches, and presentations for clients based on research and strategy.
- Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support, such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports and other documentation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
Track sales metrics, analyze data, and monitor performance to inform marketing and sales strategies.
- Marketing Collaboration:
Work with marketing departments to support promotional campaigns and initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar sales, business development, or client-facing role is common.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and CRM software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
