Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical/IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential technical assistance to our employees, ensuring their productivity and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Helpdesk Support:

  • Respond to incoming technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Provide guidance and assistance with computer setup, configuration, and maintenance.

Desktop and Laptop Support:

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and repairs as needed.
  • Assist with data backup and recovery processes.

Network Support:

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and provide basic network administration tasks.
  • Assist with network security measures and updates.

User Training:

  • Provide training and support on company-approved software and systems.
  • Create and maintain user documentation and guides.

IT Asset Management:

  • Track and manage IT assets, including hardware and software.
  • Assist with inventory control and disposal processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service.
