About the role

Kintetsu World Express Phils., Inc. is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant-CPA to join our team in our Paranaque City, Metro Manila office. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the financial integrity of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes Oversee the general ledger, fixed assets, and inventory management Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to management Manage and mentor the accounting team Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors

What we're looking for

Qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 8+ years of post-qualification experience Substantial experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry Excellent working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a team
