Job Summary:

The HR Training and Development Officer is responsible for assessing organizational training needs, designing and delivering learning programs, and supporting employee development initiatives. This role ensures that training programs are aligned with business objectives and employee growth, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify training and development needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, and consultation with managers.
  • Design, develop, and implement training programs, workshops, and learning interventions tailored to organizational goals.
  • Coordinate and facilitate in-house and external training sessions for employees at all levels.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance improvements.
  • Maintain updated training records, monitor employee participation, and ensure compliance with required learning programs.
  • Collaborate with department heads and management to create employee development plans and career progression strategies.
  • Research and recommend new training methods, tools, and technologies to enhance learning efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with external training providers and ensure quality delivery of outsourced programs.
  • Support organizational initiatives such as employee engagement programs, onboarding, and leadership development.
  • Prepare regular reports on training activities, outcomes, and return on investment (ROI) for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in training, learning, and development or HR functions.
  • Strong knowledge of training design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
