JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Provides guidance to stakeholders on the requirements to comply with the food safety and quality regulations
  2. Assesses food safety and quality compliance of Central Kitchen and Warehouse including the prerequisites programs
  3. Enforces all standards in place to ensure that there is high rate of conformance in all Central Kitchen and Warehouse
  4. Coordinates with vendors for any food safety and quality related concerns having an impact on the compliance of Central Kitchen and Warehouse like obtaining water potability certificates, PCO accreditation, Safety and Health Officer and First Aid certification
  5. Collaborates with other departments within the organization to implement the standard food safety and quality regulations
  6. Keeps up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines
  7. Analyzing complicated information. Maintaining a deep understanding of new and existing regulations that may impact the organization's products and processes
  8. Conducts regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and timelines regarding deficiencies
  9. Responsible for closely monitoring legal compliance of the Central Kitchen and Warehouse with a recommendation on the possible risks for non-compliance
  10. Preparing for and facilitating third-party audits as necessary
  11. Evaluate the corrective actions taken for the non-conformance noted during inspection of FDA, other regulatory bodies like LGU
  12. Maintain data and files for future reference, particularly in the event of an audit by a regulatory agency
  13. Recommend courses of remediation to help the company achieve necessary levels of compliance
  14. Ensure that quality standard documents are met and submissions meet strict deadlines
  15. Ensure the top management is fully aware of any high risk concerns due to deficiencies in Central Kitchen and Warehouse

Job Requirements

  1. Food Safety Compliance Officer certified
  2. Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical engineering, and HRIM, Food Tech, Nutrition or Biology course.
  3. At least one year experience working with food safety regulatory requirements for commissaries and warehouses such as but not limited to FDA LTO, CPR, NMIS LTP
  4. Proficient in documentation for QA, MS Office, Work, and Excel
  5. Knowledge in Philippine Food Laws (FDA act of 2013 and Code on Sanitation of the Philippines) would also be good.
