At a leading technology company, we seek an experienced Senior Data Engineer to spearhead foundational ETL pipelines. This pivotal position involves making strategic decisions on platform, architectural and technology enhancements for superior pipeline performance, resilience, and transparency.

About the Position

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned data engineer with a strong background in Python and DevOps skills. The selected professional will be responsible for developing and implementing robust ETL processes that efficiently transfer customer data into our centralized data warehouse.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Make informed decisions on technology, platforms, and architecture to boost pipeline efficiency and resilience.
  • Enhance transparency of ETL pipelines through meticulous documentation and process optimization.
  • Develop internal standards and guidelines for the department's technical direction.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a senior data engineer with Python as primary language.
  • Strong proficiency in DevOps practices within Linux environments, including CI/CD, Git, and containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Experience evaluating and selecting technologies (e.g., Docker, Airflow, Kubernetes) to support scalability and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Proven ability to define technical standards, internal best practices, and comprehensive documentation for a growing team.
