Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer II to join our R&D team. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding and improving our .NET/C# multi-tenant SaaS software platform hosted in the Microsoft Azure public cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to alerts, investigate issues, and identify root causes to ensure the stability and reliability of the SaaS environment.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, including configuration, automation, and monitoring, to facilitate fast and reliable software releases.
  • Utilize Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to containerize applications and scale them efficiently.
  • Manage cloud resources on the Azure platform optimizing cost, security, and performance.
  • Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement best practices for security, compliance, and vulnerability management.
  • Write scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with development to understand underlying requirements and implement infrastructure to support it.
  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and processes.
Qualifications:
The Essentials:
  • A minimum of 3 years of major cloud service provider operations experience is required.
  • Experience maintaining, scaling, and operating a consumer multi-tenant offering, including handling alerts, troubleshooting issues, and identifying root causes during investigations.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a SaaS organization is required.
  • Proven experience with containers and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes and Helm Charts) is required.
  • Experience designing, improving, and operating CI/CD release pipelines is required.
  • Templating and Configuration Languages for one or more of the following is required: Azure Resource Manager (ARM/Bicep), Terraform, JSON, YAML.
  • PowerShell experience is required.
