Job Overview
The Business Support Specialist role provides entry-level operations support by ensuring shipment information accuracy.
This position involves contacting branch personnel to verify data completeness and maintaining customer master file databases. Ensuring report accuracy and client deliverables is also a key responsibility.
We seek an individual with excellent administrative skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and handle multiple processes effectively.
A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, the selected candidate will work collaboratively with diverse team members locally and globally.
This dynamic role requires flexibility in working schedules as required by the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Support various business processes including Order Management and specialized client requirements.
- Monitor Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) and drive branch compliance to operational standards.
- Maintain Client Master Files (CMF) and Access Profiles (AP) integrity based on prescribed formats.
- Support SOP validation by following up with branches for data completion and accuracy.
- Enter data and retrigger EDI as needed.
- Identify irregularities via Non-Conformance Database (NCD).
- Develop corrective/preventive action solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train new hires and impart best practices on existing processes.
- Provide regular reports on client requests, process changes, issues, concerns, and program highlights.
- Document new and existing processes as necessary.
- Prepare internal work logs for billing purposes.
- Completed at least 3 years of college education.
- Proficient in English language, both oral and written.
- Knowledgeable in basic computer applications.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Accurate and timely data entry skills.
- Excellent administrative and problem-solving skills.
