Senior Account Specialist

About the Role

This is a compelling opportunity to work in a full-time capacity for an expanding US business. As a Senior Accounts Receivable professional, you will have the chance to develop new skills and demonstrate your expertise in accounting regulations and procedures.

You will be responsible for closely following instructions and processes outlined by your designated internal department, requiring strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy are vital when processing and verifying receipts, posting payments, and maintaining records.
  • Able to effectively communicate with clients, resolve discrepancies, and develop new repayment terms.
  • Performing account reconciliations, creating reports, and balancing ledgers requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

We look for individuals with excellent knowledge of accounting regulations, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and experience in Netsuite functions for AR and AP process.

The ideal candidate should possess strong verbal, written, and communications skills, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable/Payable and/or General Accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong Netsuite experience in functions for AR and AP process.
  • Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas etc.
