Job Title:

Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This is a full-time remote position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor payments, manage W-9 forms, reconcile vendor statements, and safeguard confidential information.

  • Invoice Processing: Review invoices for proper documentation, perform 3-way matching, ensure GL coding, and resolve discrepancies.

  • Payments & Scheduling: Maintain an accurate payment schedule, track billings and payments, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  • Communication & Support: Collaborate with internal teams to support purchase-related processes, apply check, wire, and ACH payments, verify deductions, confirm proper coding, enter credit memos, and retrieve remittance advice when necessary.

  • Accounts Receivable: Accurately apply payments, verify deductions, confirm proper coding, enter credit memos, perform regular account reconciliations, maintain organized records, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and record and reconcile online sales and bank deposits.
