Financial Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analysis Specialist to join our team in a remote work setup. This role offers 100% flexibility to work from anywhere with company-provided equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance portfolio-level financial models to inform budgets and reforecasts, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze project-level budget-to-actual variance and communicate findings to operational teams, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Highlight and investigate underperformance and optimization opportunities of operating assets, leading to actionable recommendations that drive enhanced results.
  • Prepare reporting packages and various deliverables to stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure delivery of key alerts and protect portfolios from operational risk.
  • Benchmark data infrastructure to enable the team to isolate and investigate key performance drivers such as energy rates and energy production.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field or relevant coursework preferred.
  • Creative mindset with proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
