Accounting professionals with a strong focus on financial management are sought after to lead the Accounts Payable Management team. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and oversee daily operations to ensure timely and accurate payment of financial obligations.

This role is responsible for providing operational oversight and driving process efficiency within defined company policies and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accountancy or a related finance course, with a minimum of 5 years of solid accounting experience preferably gained from a high-volume, large corporate environment.

Familiarity with general accounting and bookkeeping principles, business taxes, and statutory reporting requirements is essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily department operations and ensure tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and reporting systems
  • Ensure completeness and organization of financial records to support audit and compliance requirements
  • Investigate and resolve complex payable issues
  • Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
  • Maintain and update journal entries and manage period-end closings and audits
  • Monitor account balances, analyze financial activities, and generate monthly financial reports
  • People and Office Management:
  • Set departmental objectives and manage budgetary planning
  • Assign, review, and guide team members on task execution and issue resolution
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff performance
  • Conduct onboarding and training for new Accounts Payable employees
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and process improvements
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and business partners
