Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payment schedules, and maintaining accurate financial records.

  • Process invoices and payments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage payment schedules and ensure that all bills are paid on time
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Analyze and resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices or payments
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and management
Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and process invoices from suppliers; ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Payment Scheduling: Manage payment schedules, including setting up and tracking payment dates, amounts, and due dates.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other relevant documents.
  • Dispute Resolution: Analyze and resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices or payments, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions to business operations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth processing of invoices and payments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a large corporate organization.
  • Skills: Intermediate understanding of basic accounting principles and practices, proficiency in ERP and other business/accounting tools, excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Languages: Proficiency in conversational English and Portuguese language (both written and verbal).
