Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

Ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supports operational efficiency through timely reporting, and maintains regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Maintains general ledger entries, reconciles bank statements, and ensures accurate posting of transactions.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitors vendor payments, customer collections, and ensures timely processing of invoices.
  • Inventory Accounting: Tracks vehicle and parts inventory costs, applies valuation adjustments, and coordinates with sales and service departments.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assists in preparing budgets, monitors actual performance, and provides variance analysis.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensures adherence to financial regulations and supports internal and external audits.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborates with sales, service, and HR teams to align financial processes with operational needs.
Qualifications:
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience - Minimum of 2–3 years in accounting, preferably in a dealership or retail environment.
  • Familiarity with dealership accounting systems (e.g., CDK, QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
Required Skills:
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Detail-Oriented: High accuracy in financial documentation and reconciliations.
  • Communication: Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
  • Time Management: Capable of meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
