Financial Operations Coordinator

About the Role:

The Financial Operations Coordinator plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. This role involves providing financial expertise and support to various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis

    • Analyze and prepare monthly management reports for different business segments.

    • Coordinate corrections for unusual entries and ensure accuracy across business units.

    • Reconcile financial data and provide insights on actual results.

  • Audit & Compliance

    • Prepare schedules and notes for statutory submissions, adhering to regulatory requirements.

    • Coordinate with external auditors for interim and year-end audits, ensuring timely completion.

    • Resolve audit queries and lead the closure of management letter items.

  • General Ledger & Reconciliation

    • Analyze and validate balance sheet accounts, identifying any discrepancies.

    • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, escalating unresolved items promptly.

    • Monitor and propose adjustments for account clean-up and accuracy.

  • Cash Fund & Accruals

    • Manage quarterly fund accountability and cash fund reconciliations, ensuring accuracy.

    • Prepare and validate journal entries for accruals and adjustments.

  • Collaboration & Process Improvement

    • Work cross-functionally to enhance reporting quality and financial processes, driving efficiency.

    • Stay updated on regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in BS Accountancy or related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and financial reporting, with analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities, with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of statutory reporting and audit processes, with willingness to learn and adapt.

  • Ability to work in a hybrid working setup, with flexibility and adaptability.
