Accounting Supervisor Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Accounting Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, review, and analysis of various bank reconciliation reports.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze the gross margin report and all supporting schedules and related reports for both statutory and management purposes.
  • Supervise the works of subordinates consistent with assigned work duties and expected reports, ensuring tasks are properly executed based on procedures and accounting policies.
  • Monitor, verify, and approve transaction movements of all accounts within predetermined limits, as well as journal entries for reconciliation and accounting adjustments.
  • Coordinate with auditors to provide schedules of inventory accounts and other related accounts, in addition to meeting external financial audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team and other departments to address concerns, projects, or initiatives.
  • Participate in developing and implementing goals, policies, and procedures related to accounting services and operations.
  • File and maintain accounting records and reports for the Inventory Group.
  • Perform additional functions as assigned from time to time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years of people management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
  • Knowledgeable about various government regulations and laws applicable to accounting.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent skills in financial reporting, review, and analysis.
