Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of a Senior Compliance Officer in our EMEA Banking and Markets Compliance Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with monitoring and advisory activities to support the business while maintaining independence of the compliance function.
  • Support the implementation of global and regional Compliance Program for the EMEA Banking and Markets, including testing compliance frameworks and executing against action plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide assistance on compliance matters and maintain excellent working relationships.
  • Identify and document compliance breaches where applicable.
  • Represent compliance in relevant governance forums and committees.
  • Participate in EMEA Compliance team initiatives and help develop the compliance culture within the organization.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of financial products and potential conflicts of interest that Compliance function is expected to manage.
  • Understanding of Compliance objectives and awareness of major financial regulations.
  • Ability to create useful Management Information from compliance monitoring data available.
  • Excellent communication and problem analysis skills.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 application, including Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint or other technology platforms.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail, and initiative to improve existing processes.
  • Ability to operate effectively as part of a global team, working collaboratively with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities.
