Job Summary

The Compliance Banking Specialist is responsible for ensuring strict implementation and consistent compliance to policies and procedures of the bank, BSP/AMLA regulations and other external regulatory rules. This role supports business objectives through excellent customer service delivery and other service-related initiatives geared towards total customer satisfaction.

This position requires the ability to stay focused and determined under high pressure, as well as strong organizational skills and stress tolerance. A minimum of a 4-year graduate degree in business or a service industry-oriented course is required. Additionally, extensive knowledge in bank policies and procedures for branch operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports Service Manager in managing branch operations with particular focus on vault/ATM cash level, vault operations and tellering functions.
  • Ensures BC compliance to all regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
  • Analyzes and executes service tasks geared towards increasing deposits, fees and revenues from bank products, Cross Selling referrals and other business initiatives.
  • Responsible for managing risk area with goal of eliminating errors/lapses/irregularities that could result to reputational, monetary and other risks and/or possible financial losses.
