Job Opportunity: Virtual Support Specialist
">We are seeking a skilled and organized Virtual Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide administrative assistance to ensure seamless care coordination.
Responsibilities:- Communication Management: Manage and organize company email inboxes, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Patient Engagement: Handle intake calls from patients, families, and referral sources with professionalism and empathy.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and documentation support.
- Referral Coordination: Coordinate and process referrals from hospitals, clinics, and case managers.
- Care Coordination: Communicate effectively with case managers, patients, and internal staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Call Management: Use RingCentral for call management and communication.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation within our CRM system and Alora (EMR software).
- Team Support: Support the home health team with scheduling, data entry, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a healthcare-related role (home health experience is a must).
- Skills: Familiarity with insurance processes, referrals, and prior authorizations in healthcare. Proficiency with RingCentral, CRM platforms, and Alora (or similar EMR software).
- Aptitudes: Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a remote setting.
