Job Title: Automotive Technical Support Specialist
A Vehicle Technical Assistance Agent provides expert support to automotive technicians by diagnosing complex technical issues and offering solutions related to vehicle performance and repairs.
This role combines in-depth automotive knowledge with exceptional customer service skills to ensure efficient problem resolution and high customer satisfaction for domestic automotive dealers.
Main Responsibilities- Provide technical support via phone, email, or chat to customers and technicians in diagnosing and resolving vehicle technical issues.
- Analyze reported problems, identify root causes, and provide clear, actionable solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions using a CRM system.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
- Stay updated on the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.
- Ensure that all provided solutions meet company standards and contribute to overall customer satisfaction.
- A bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: State or ASE Certified.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician (dealership preferred).
- Expert understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to think critically and provide effective solutions under pressure.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant applications.
