Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor

The primary function of the Mortgage Loan Processor is to oversee the loan processing lifecycle, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and facilitating efficient processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan Application Review: Conduct thorough examinations of initial loan applications to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
  • Document Gathering and Verification: Collect, verify, and analyze financial and personal documentation such as credit reports, tax returns, pay stubs, and bank statements.
  • Loan Package Preparation and Submission: Prepare and submit loan packages to underwriting for approval.
  • Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication with loan officers, underwriters, clients, title companies, and other third-party vendors.
  • Documentation Compliance: Ensure all required documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Loan Status Tracking: Monitor and update loan status in the system, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve documentation or credit issues and request additional information when necessary.
  • Closing Document Preparation: Schedule and prepare closing documents in coordination with the closing team.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records and files in accordance with company policies and auditing requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in loan origination systems, excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
