Loan Officer Assistant Job Summary

The role of a Loan Officer Assistant is to provide exceptional support to loan officers in processing mortgage applications. This involves handling loan documentation, maintaining data accuracy, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth loan processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, verify, and organize borrower documentation including financial statements and identification documents.
  • Review and prepare loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in the loan origination system and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Coordinate with appraisers, title companies, and insurance providers to facilitate the loan process.
  • Monitor loan file progress and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
