Loan Specialist

As a Loan Specialist, you'll play a key role in our premium mortgage services team. This exciting opportunity allows you to develop expertise in processing and submitting mortgage applications with exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and submit mortgage applications prepared by our strategy team with high-quality results
- Start with simpler refinance applications and progress to complex purchase scenarios under guidance from senior loan processors
- Manage application workflows using digital platforms such as Broker Engine and Apply Online
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers, and third-party service providers
- Handle discharge processes with outgoing lenders and manage settlement coordination efficiently
- Respond to lender MIRs (More Information Required) initially with strategy team support and escalate as necessary
- Develop autonomy in handling routine MIR responses as experience grows, anticipating and preventing common application issues through systematic approaches
- Collaborate with the team on complex scenarios requiring expert input and contribute to process improvements
- Track and resolve application bottlenecks to maintain smooth processing timelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Follow established systematic approaches to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements
