
Business Development Professional

As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring sales support representatives and data researchers to enhance performance and productivity. Your role will involve overseeing the identification of new business opportunities and supporting account executives in their initiatives. Additionally, you will maintain up-to-date documentation of processes, promote best practices, and identify opportunities for efficiency and technological enhancement.
Duties/ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks
- Ensure timely completion of daily tasks and stay on top of emails, calls, and timelines.
- Follow established processes and procedures within our daily tools – Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Slack, and Salesforce.
- Utilize Confluence to document training programs, current processes, updates, and best practices related to Business Development operations.
- Stay informed about tasks and processes and delegate effectively to team members.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategies that improve overall Business Development performance.
- Support Business Development and account executive initiatives.
- Ensure tasks are completed according to organizational guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Act as the primary decision-maker for urgent issues related to team responsibilities.
- Assist with projects as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Stay updated on announcements and approve time-off requests.
- Participate in regular meetings with the management team to continually improve practices between the US and Asia.
Specific Responsibilities
- Oversee the Business Development team and coordinate schedules.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and evaluations to provide feedback and address individual/team challenges.
- Develop training programs for onboarding new team members and ongoing development.
- Make use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to gather contact information for outbound campaigns.
- Set up and track email campaigns for both the New Logo and UK Sales teams.
- Respond to customer emails when necessary.
- Establish goals for the team and ensure they meet them.
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs) for both the team and individual team members.
- Conduct market research to identify target prospects, build and refine lead lists, and set up personalized outbound campaigns.
- Run A/B tests to optimize performance, track campaign metrics, and report on effectiveness.
- Update Salesforce records to support the sales process and maintain data integrity.
- Maintain Business Development and UK Sales dashboards and create reports as needed.
Essential Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work on-site full-time.
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 9pm-6am.
- Flexibility to work in shifting schedules when necessary.
