We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Financial Sales Professional to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
The Financial Sales Associate plays a crucial role in providing life insurance solutions to bank clients. This individual will work closely with branch sales and service teams, requiring a dynamic and independent mindset.
- Provide life insurance and wealth management solutions to clients through tailored advice and product recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with branch sales and service teams to offer innovative product solutions addressing clients' protection, long-term savings, and investment needs.
- Strengthen long-term relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and regular communication.
- Assist the Business Center in achieving sales goals and targets, including lead generation, conversion, account acquisition, maintenance, repeat business, deepening, and cross-selling of products.
- Prepare monthly sales call plans and daily sales reports to ensure key information is properly recorded, reviewed, and acted upon.
- Generate new account relationships, deepen and broaden existing ones, and perform account handling and maintenance tasks to enhance account profitability and expand business.
- Maintain cordial working relations with clients by ensuring timely and expeditious handling of their financial needs.
- Prepare and ensure availability of documentary requirements.
- Conduct market/competitor shopping, client mapping, telesales, sales calls, and on-site product presentations for new business acquisitions, sometimes jointly with the Branch Manager.
- Promote referrals of products and services to existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct proper Know-Your-Customer (KYC) procedures and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) / Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), depending on client risk profile.
- Ensure daily email communications are checked and attended to.
- Attend meetings, trainings, conferences, and related learning activities as required by immediate head and/or management.
- Comply with all HR System (Workday Employee Self Service) requirements and other HR deliverables within deadline provided.
- Ensure 100% completion of compliance trainings mandated by the company within deadline provided.
- Conduct policy reviews to provide quality customer experience through updates and financial advice to clients, enabling upselling, reselling, cross-selling, and/or generating leads.
- Facilitate collection via alternate deposit accounts, over-the-counter or cheque payments.
- Conduct regular leads planning with Branch Manager to generate quality sales leads.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of life insurance and wealth management products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
