We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Operational Support Specialist.

Job Description

The main objective of this role is to provide exceptional support to our Account Sales Representatives by coordinating all shipments and proactively communicating with scheduling, load management, and carrier sales teams to ensure seamless execution and highest customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Main operational point of contact for customers throughout the lifecycle of a load
  2. Maintaining thorough understanding of operational processes and requirements, updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on a regular basis
  3. Proactive communication with customers regarding shipment status and addressing any arising issues
  4. Cross-functional collaboration with other departments to ensure loads meet OTP and OTD targets
  5. Handling Quote and Book tasks for assigned customers as required
  6. Assisting with scheduling/rescheduling appointments as needed
  7. Performing scorecard audits to align external and internal metrics
  8. Providing valuable customer feedback to drive continuous improvement of our core technology
  9. Processing accessorials in a timely manner
  10. Assisting in resolving RPM/FSC discrepancies for accurate billing

This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills both internally and externally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualities and qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • At least 9 months of work experience at a US logistics brokerage with shippers
  • Prior experience with scheduling tasks and Quote & Book tasks a plus but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset
  • Able to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • High level of autonomy and ability to maintain a level head under pressure
  • Curious mindset
