The Learning Experience Specialist will provide strategic leadership in designing learning experiences that engage learners and drive business results.
Responsibilities:- Learning Experience Design:
- Conduct robust learning needs analysis to identify opportunities for training solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine required skills and competency levels for learners/participants.
- Design and develop effective learning strategies, including instructional design principles and practices.
- Develop measurable training goals and learning objectives in all three learning domains.
- Experience in E-Learning design principles, practices, and platforms (LMS) is a plus.
- Courseware Development:
- Conceptualize the overall look and feel of digital learning lessons.
- Develop advanced instructional media, including guided tool simulations, interactive lessons, and assessments.
- Utilize various graphics, video, and course authoring software to develop visually appealing and modern-looking instructional media.
- Apply visual design principles in every output.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate effectively across functional teams to identify learning needs and ensure alignment around key priorities and initiatives.
- Keep track and report results of learning initiatives up to 90 days after implementation.
- Create, track, and maintain project plans.
- Manage projects by working closely with SMEs and project team members, effectively communicating progress and risks.
Success Metrics:
- Performance of learning programs deployed.
- On-time delivery of projects managed.
- Feedback from key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Distance Education, or Educational Technology is a plus.
- 3 to 5 years experience in designing learner-centered training programs and developing related training materials.
- Working knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and evaluation principles and practices.
- Drafting measurable training goals and learning objectives in all three learning domains.
- Developing appropriate learning assessment strategies and instruments.
- Experience as an L&D program manager is a plus.
- Technology literate and able to work with new software.
- Understanding of courseware authoring tools and E-Learning design principles.
