Business Development Professional

We are seeking an experienced business development professional to drive growth and expansion of our portfolio in Southeast Asia.

About the Role

This is a high-impact opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong track record in consultative B2B sales and partnership development. The successful candidate will identify and develop business opportunities, build a strong pipeline of leads and key accounts, and forge and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to each country's unique language education landscape.
  • Promote LANGUAGECERT certifications across public and private sectors through strategic partnerships and events.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (Postgraduate qualification is a plus).
  • 10+ years' experience in business development, ideally in the language testing, education, EdTech, or certification sectors.
  • Proven success in consultative B2B sales and partnership development.
  • Deep understanding of the language learning and assessment landscape in Southeast Asia.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, flexibility, and adaptability. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of contacts in the region and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Fluency in English (C2 level) is required; proficiency in any major Southeast Asian language is a plus.
