Accounting Professional

This role is a hands-on finance position designed for an experienced accounting professional who can manage financial operations. Beyond managing day-to-day accounts, the role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial data is captured and reported to support business decision-making.

  • Maintain and update supplier invoices, ensuring they match up to statements.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and rectify errors.
  • Follow up with suppliers for outstanding accounts and ensure timely payment.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement streamlined procedures.
  • Support other business functions.
  • Collections and accounts receivable as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Qualifications in Accounting or Business (Diploma or higher) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' bookkeeping experience.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
