About the Role

The Telecommunications Site Acquisition Specialist is responsible for coordinating site acquisition and leasing activities. This involves identifying viable locations, negotiating leases with property owners and managers, and ensuring completion of necessary documentation.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating telecommunications site acquisition and leasing activities.
  • Negotiating leases with property owners and managers.
  • Ensuring completion of leasing packages and other required documentation.
  • Interface with RF Engineers, Zoning, and Construction personnel to ensure selected sites meet engineering, zoning, and construction requirements.
  • Procure zoning maps, parcel maps, street maps, and deeds for selected sites.

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in wireless site acquisition in the Calgary market, excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook), and a keen eye for detail.

You will also need to be competitive in nature, willing to work on-site, and have a passion for real estate leasing and municipal law surrounding land use and zoning/permitting.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or urban planning, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
