Key Job Responsibilities

Sophos is a leading provider of advanced security solutions. The Compensation & Benefits Manager role collaborates with the HR team to develop and implement global compensation and benefits strategies. This involves analyzing market trends, designing benefits programs, and managing budget models.

The successful candidate will lead internal/external market analysis, participate in global compensation and benefits surveys, and partner with the Global Compensation and Benefits team on process management. They will also design and manage benefits programs, work closely with HR Analytics on dashboards, and lead training and communications on compensation and benefits programs.

  • Lead internal/external market analysis including assessment of compensation surveys for the APJ region to develop pay ranges.
  • Participate in global compensation and benefits surveys to ensure competitive practices are maintained.
  • Partner with Global Compensation and Benefits team in process management of global merit, bonus and equity cycles.
  • Design and manage the benefits programs, including benefits administration for the APJ region.
  • Work closely with HR Analytics on dashboards to support decision-making and performance measurement.
  • Lead the development and delivery of training/communications on a variety of compensation and benefits programs.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years relevant compensation and benefits experience, strong analytical and project management skills, and ability to manage multiple high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and follow-up skills with a strong attention to detail, extensive knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, and ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management in a professional and positive manner.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, CompXL and/or survey management tools a plus.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
