Workday Certified Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced consultant to join our team in delivering innovative solutions for clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the Workday HCM product suite, particularly in U.S. Benefits.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience configuring and implementing a combination of HCM/Benefits Solutions, along with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Previous consulting experience is also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic support for clients' Workday technology by designing and configuring effective solutions. You will work closely with our deployment team to gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, and assist in testing the Workday solution.

You will also be responsible for mentoring new consultants and serving as a professional role model, as well as coaching others on product knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for this role, as well as the ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals.

Key Expectations:

  • Provide expertise in the Workday HCM product suite, with deep expertise and experience in U.S. Benefits
  • Lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model as well as coach others on product knowledge
  • Communicate clearly and concisely. Collaborate effectively and synergistically to team-based projects
  • Facilitate clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices
  • Maintain clients' ongoing satisfaction, ensuring successful delivery of projects
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers keeping them apprised of overall project status
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications
  • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation
  • Demonstrate computational thinking and problem-solving skills
