Job Description

The Public Area Supervisor role involves overseeing the daily operations of public areas in a hotel setting. This includes managing staff, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, and attending to guest requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular briefings with staff to ensure they are aware of their tasks and responsibilities.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in public areas, including lobbies, restaurants, meeting rooms, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Replenish guest supplies and respond promptly to guest requests for assistance.
  • Investigate and report any damage or malfunctions in hotel facilities.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and procedures, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
