Job Description:

The role of a Senior Service Engineer in Planned Event Management is to ensure that planned events and urgent maintenance schedules are communicated to affected customers in a timely manner.

This involves making decisions, negotiating with internal and external event planners, and coordinating with various teams to come up with a suitable maintenance schedule that benefits both the customer and the engineer.

The job holder must also be able to respond promptly to operational matters, deal with planned event activity enquiries, and manage external suppliers and service providers to plan for acceptable schedules.

Additionally, the Senior Service Engineer must negotiate with event planners, service partners, and service providers to reschedule maintenance activities and reduce their impact on the general public or specific customer services.

  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams
  • Plan and manage schedules with external suppliers
  • Reschedule maintenance activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • University degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or relevant field
  • At least 3 years of experience in telecom industry field
  • Experienced in IP, Internet, Transmission, and telecom-related products and services
  • Familiarity with operational and incident management techniques
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills required
  • Customer-oriented and able to work independently under pressure
