Procurement Specialist, Projects Division

The Procurement Specialist, Projects Division reports to the Senior Manager, Project Procurement and is responsible for the procurement of goods and services required by the assigned project. The position involves conducting market research, analyzing supplier capabilities, and negotiating contracts with suppliers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capability to meet the project requirements.
  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the project objectives and ensures timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts with selected suppliers, ensuring that the terms and conditions are favorable to the organization.
  • Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including the evaluation of tenders, negotiation of prices, and administration of contracts.
  • Maintain effective relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a projects environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
