Procurement Professional

We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to support our purchasing and procurement operations for technical or infrastructure projects.

This role works closely with the procurement manager to ensure full compliance with local procurement regulations and client requirements.

This is a nationwide project, and we need someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.

This position is contingent upon the award of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the procurement team in sourcing, bidding, and vendor selection
  • Ensure all procurement actions comply with local procurement policies and client requirements
  • Vet suppliers and manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and warranty requirements
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to support asset tracking, tagging, and inventory documentation
  • Maintain accurate procurement files, documentation, and approvals in line with audit requirements
  • Support VAT exemption processing and maintain proper records with local authorities

Qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement for technical or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of local procurement laws and US Government procurement standards
  • Proven experience managing local vendors, sourcing equipment, and negotiating terms
  • Familiar with US Federal Agency procurement policies and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement tracking tools
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
