Loan Operations Specialist

As a Loan Operations Specialist, you will oversee the pre-credit loan processing lifecycle. This entails conducting retention pricing analyses of existing client portfolios, preparing servicing calculators for brokers, and facilitating data entry processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth retention pricing assessments for existing clients to optimize portfolio value.
  • Develop detailed servicing calculators for broker utilization.
  • Initiate welcome communications and collect initial data from new clients.
  • Enter client data accurately and update existing records accordingly.
  • Organize supporting documents and identify missing items as needed.
  • Negotiate pricing discounts with lenders and arrange valuation services.
  • Prepare property reports and create broker tools like Quickli, strategy sheets, and loan options maps.
  • Compose lender application notes and provide support for lender option preparation.
  • Engage with lenders to obtain updates and assist with post-settlement account summaries.
  • Generate comprehensive breakdowns of post-settlement transactions for clients.
  • Facilitate the preparation and management of discharge forms for settlements.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year's experience in Australian mortgage loan operations (pre- or post-settlement).
  • Familiarity with pricing and valuation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Mercury, FLEX, SalesTrekker, or Symmetry.
  • Exceptional organizational skills combined with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Resourcefulness, commercial acumen, and a willingness to learn.
  • A bachelor's degree in any field.
  • The ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and follow through on tasks.
  • Sound judgment and a proactive approach to task ownership.
