Job Title:

Dynamic Accounting Professional

The position of a Home-Based Property Accountant is a key role in our organization's accounting operations.

This job involves conducting thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records, managing Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) efficiently, preparing accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external use, handling investor reporting, providing detailed and clear financial information, utilizing specialized software for various property accounting tasks and data management, collaborating with the in-house CPA team to ensure high-quality accounting services, reporting to staff, managers, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Manage A/P and A/R efficiently.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Handle investor reporting.
  • Utilize specialized software for property accounting tasks.
  • Collaborate with the CPA team.
  • Report to staff, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proven experience as a Property Accountant.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts.
  • Proficiency with using specialized software.
  • Strong working knowledge using Excel.
