Store Management Role

This role is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in ensuring store operations run efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Operations: Assist the Store Manager in managing daily store activities, including driving sales and profit growth, customer loyalty, planning, prioritization, and delegating tasks to team members.
  • Team Member Development: Support the Store Manager in counseling team members, making staffing decisions, scheduling, training, and maintaining a productive work environment.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service by executing the GURA Sales Leader role and championing customer experience in the store.
  • Safety and Productivity: Foster a safe and productive work environment for team members, customers, and vendors, adhering to established safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous retail leadership experience is required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet care, or welding is a strong asset.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Work Environment:
  • The working environment is generally indoors with moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Physical Demands:
  • This role requires frequent movement and transfer of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the store.
  • Ability to push and pull merchandise weighing up to 2,000 pounds with assistance.
