Financial Operations Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes.

  • Manage daily accounting functions for real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Key responsibility
  • Utilize AppFolio software to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports. Key accountability
  • Reconcile accounts using QuickBooks Online to ensure accurate financial data and maintain compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly to prevent financial losses.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review. These documents will provide valuable insights into our financial position and inform business decisions.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with property managers and other team members to ensure smooth financial operations and meet organizational goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting and finance management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AppFolio required.
  • Strong QuickBooks Online skills with proven track record of accurate bookkeeping.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team to achieve shared objectives.
