Job Title: New Business Development Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative to generate new business opportunities, engage healthcare decision-makers, and support our rapidly growing sales pipeline. This role is critical in driving growth through outbound prospecting, relationship building, and market intelligence.
If you are passionate about healthcare technology, experienced in Health IT, and skilled at communicating complex solutions to C-level executives, physicians, and clinic administrators—this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Outreach: Identify and research prospective clients through cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.
- Qualification: Conduct needs assessments to determine lead suitability and align opportunities with business objectives.
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers including oncologists, surgeons, clinic administrators, ASC leaders, and hospital executives.
- Trade Shows & Events: Identify relevant trade shows and industry conferences in the USA, support event planning, and provide on-site assistance when required.
- Sales Support: Develop a deep understanding of Ankr's products and effectively communicate value propositions. Maintain accurate lead data and client interactions in the CRM (Salesforce).
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and provide sales insights.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs while providing regular reports on outreach metrics and conversion performance.
- Customer Retention: Proactively engage with existing customers to ensure timely contract renewals and support account growth initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Education & Experience: MBA OR a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of sales experience.
- Candidates must have prior experience with cold calling customers (clinics/doctors preferred).
- Health IT Experience: Prior experience in Health IT sales is mandatory.
- Language Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English skills (US-based clients).
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to prospect, engage, and qualify leads with a consultative approach.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with lead generation tools (e.g., Apollo.io) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Soft Skills: Resilient, adaptable, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively.
- Team Player: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
