Product Development Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product development lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations and profitable partnerships.

The Product Development Specialist will work closely with suppliers to develop and maintain relationships, negotiate contracts, and analyze financial data to ensure profitable outcomes. They will also conduct financial analyses using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers, including communication, sample sourcing, pricing negotiation, and timeline management.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses for new and ongoing products to ensure profitable outcomes.
  • Product Development Support: Work closely with the product development team to understand product requirements and ensure activities align with product development timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Development.
  • Desirable: Experience in Beauty, Hair Goods, or Hair Accessories.
