Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations, including comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents, and overseeing the hiring and onboarding process for company employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Hire Onboarding: Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Talent Acquisition: Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting interviews, reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
  • HR Objectives and Systems: Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • HR Advisory Service: Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees and contractors in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee/contractor-relations matters.
  • Payroll Processing: Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee and contractors' files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and benefit changes.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee/contractor handbook, employee/contractor directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies.
  • Professional Development: Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience with remote onboarding and virtual team engagement.
  • Certification: Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or ongoing pursuit of certification is a plus.
  • Talent Acquisition: Experience in talent acquisition for diverse roles, including technical, operational, and leadership positions.
  • Problem Solving: Proactive problem solving: Capable of identifying and resolving HR-related challenges in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Adaptability: Adaptability: Comfortable with the fast-paced and evolving nature of a remote work environment.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to facilitate effective communication across a distributed team.
  • Team Player: Team player: Collaborative and willing to work with various departments to support HR initiatives and organizational goals.
Salary and Benefits
