About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and preparing and maintaining financial reports and statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts are balanced.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.
  • Monitor expenses and track budgets.
  • Manage invoices, payments, and vendor records.
  • Assist with preparing documentation for tax filings and audits.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in bookkeeping within the retail, fashion, or apparel industry.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
